Manchester United defender Phil Jones has warned Chelsea that they will come out all guns blazing against the blues when both sides meet in the final of the FA Cup this weekend. He vowed that Man United will take the game to Chelsea.

The Red Devils are in pursuit of a third trophy in the last two seasons. The Jose Mourinho led side appears to be favorites for the title as they come up against a Chelsea side who might still be disappointed for missing out on next season’s UEFA Champions League after finishing outside the top four under Antonio Conte.

The proceedings of the just concluded season has resulted in speculation that the Italian manager may be set to leave after the game.

It can be recalled that Manchester United emerged victorious in the recent meeting between the sides with a 2:1 win at Old Trafford, having lost 1 nil to the Blues at Stamford Bridge in the preceding tie. Whilst speaking to the club’s website in view of the final game, Jones said:

“There are positives to take from that game,” Jones said.

“The FA Cup final is the cup competition in England that everyone wants to win. It’s important that we do go and really take the game to them and come away with the trophy.”
