Former Arsenal chief executive, Ivan Gazidis joined AC Milan in September after witnessing the recruitment process that produced Unai Emery as Arsene Wenger’s successor at the Emirates.

Sarri’s services are in high demand in Italy as AC Milan are hoping to beat their local rivals, Roma to his signature if Roman Abramovich decides to terminate Maurizio Sarri’s time at Stamford Bridge.
AC Milan are ready to offer the Sarri with a salary worth €3 million-a-year after tax, while Chelsea, who have been struck with a two-window transfer ban, are understood to be considering a move for Watford’s Javi Gracia or club legend Frank Lampard, whose side recently reached the Championship play-off final after a dramatic win over Leeds United.
