- Ampadu’s move is somewhat a disappointment but its to benefit him.
- I was really looking forward to working with Ampadu.
Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu has moved to German side RB Leipzig on a season-long loan deal.
In 2016, the midfielder graduated from the Blues academy to join the senior team, since then the Wales International has only been able to make 12 appearances across all competitions for the Blues.
Ampadu renewed his contract back in September 2018, penning a five-year contract extension at the Bridge earning him more game time including featuring in the Blues Europa League Cup glory.
However, his Move to german side will not deter his chance of playing among the elite clubs in Europe and he will also help RB Leipzig challenge for the Bundesliga Title following his loan.
