Reports are rife that Chelsea are close to securing a £9million deal for former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina despite his move to AC Milan a few days ago.
Reina joined Milan on a free this summer but is set to join up with his former boss at Napoli in London according to reports. The goalie will also end up as part of Sarri’s back-room team after he retires in a couple of years.
Chelsea might be set to lose out on Thibaut Courtois as Real Madrid are hot on the heels of the Belgian, with the player also appearing resigned to live in Madrid next season. Reina is one of the goalkeeping options for Chelsea, having worked with Sarri while at Napoli in the Serie A.
