Chelsea only sold 2000 allocations out of their 5801 for the showpiece occasion in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The blues only had around 2000 travelling fans at Baku watch them beat Arsenal 4-1, many fans were reluctant to pay the exorbitant flight fare that was over £1000.
Chelsea’s chief Thomas cook, provided a fly-in and out service for the travelling fans, it cost about £979 per head but the price was criticized by fans.

“I wish to reassure you that since the Europa League final in Azerbaijan, the club has been taking time to carefully consider any lessons to be learned from the experiences of our supporters who attended the match.
We have been and we will continue to discuss internally if there was more we could have done to help you get to and from Baku.

Just returning from injury N’Golo Kante, has suffered another injury this time in training for Wednesday game against Arsenal at Baku.
According to British media reports, the French international is in doubt to feature in the Europa League final due to the midfielder twisting his knee in training over the weekend.
Kante was assessed by the club’s medical staff on Sunday to find out the severity of the injury, though the fear is the Frenchman may be sidelined for a long period of time.
