Jorginho has proven to be instrumental to Sarri’s football philosophy, he proved his importance to his fellow countryman when he followed his countryman to Stamford Bridge back in 2018.
The Italian player was signed from Napoli in 2018, almost immediately following his manager to West London and was immediately dispatched to Chelsea starting line up.
The Italian men’s relationship has proven to be strong as rumours have it that Jorginho could be moving to Juventus following his manager once again to a new club.
Maurizio Sarri has been confirmed to be moving to Turin by both clubs involved, the 60-year-old would be in Juventus to replace Maximiliano Allegri.

Jorginho 27, marked his debut in the premier league with a goal from the penalty spot, his season was marred by the fans lack of appreciation of his meek efforts in the team. Sarri’s football did more harm than good to the team and it quickly turned fans against him.
Sarri’s departure has brought about the rise in rumours and speculations on Jorginho’s move to Turin, his agent Joao Santos developed a diplomatic statement saying his client is very happy at Chelsea but won’t turn down interest from other clubs.
“Chelsea has a four-year contract with the lad,” Santos told Tuttomercatoweb. “We’ll wait a few days to figure out whether there is any truth in this interest mentioned in the papers.
“His past at Napoli won’t be an issue, because Jorginho is a professional. Right now, Jorginho is happy at Chelsea. He found a great atmosphere and we can’t really say that he’d like to go elsewhere, but anything can happen in the transfer market. We’ll wait and see.”
Jorginho had a long season at Chelsea filled with criticism, Chelsea finished the season third in the EPL, won the Europa league title but both he and Sarri are still heavily criticized.
Joao Santos has backed Maurizio Sarri to shine at Juventus in the coming season, giving his verdict;
“Sarri already showed at Napoli and Chelsea that he is a top-level coach,” he said. “At a club like Juve, who have been so well-organised for years, he can only improve and continue to win.
“I’ve been tracking Sarri for five years and his style of football is very entertaining. Juventus will change, because before they would win without being convincing.
“Now they’ll convince too.”
