According to reports from The Sun, Chelsea are ready to hijack Tottenham’s bid for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.
The 22-year-old has been the subject of major interest from Spurs although no bid has been made, and Chelsea are ready to pounce with a bid of £20million
Grealish spent last season in the Championship with Villa, although they failed to gain promotion after losing the Play-Off final to Fulham.

It is believed that Villa captain last season and Chelsea legend John Terry will approve of Chelsea’s move for the young England international.
Villa have recently come under new ownership as Egyptian billionaire Nassef Sawiris and American Wes Edens have bought a controlling stake at the club.
The club are currently in no financial difficulty, however, FFP rules demand that there may be a need to earn back the money that was spent on transfers last season.
Meanwhile, Villa will commence their third consecutive season in the Championship with a game against Hull on Monday night.
