Tiemoue Bakayoko was at the top of his game at Monaco as Manchester United and Chelsea seemed to be his next destination, eventually, Chelsea won.
The French international signed for the Blues back in summer of 2017. The 24-year-old only made 43 appearances for the Blues he managed 3 goals in all competition, his season was at best described as been Patchy.
The arrival of a new manager Maurizio Sarri who immediately requested the club to sign Jorginho from Napoli and Bakayoko didn’t fit in his plans for the Blues.
August of 2018 Bakayoko was loaned to Italy giants AC Millan, his start to the Seria A was awful enough for his manager to publicly call him ‘
“a player with defects.”

However, an injury suffered by the AC Millan’s captain paved way for the French international, he gradually rediscovered his magic during his spell in Serie A.
A box-to-box midfield role, rather than his accustomed holding midfield role in front of the defence saw the Frenchman flourish, using both his physical strength and passing ability effectively.
Though Bakayoko has had one of his best seasons ever since his move from AS Monaco, the Rossoneri’s are not willing to keep the 24-year-old due to racial abuses suffered by the Frenchman and problems with the manager Genaro Gattuso on and off the pitch.
Bakayoko’s brother and also agent said to French paper L’Equipe that:
“There are some pretty interesting, quite big clubs that have inquired, but we give priority to Chelsea,’ said Abdoulaye Bakayoko of his brother’s plans for next season.
We already know, there is the Champions League and we are looking for stability. Tiemoue has decided to stay there.”
Bakayoko future at Chelsea might be a welcomed one, as Chelsea are not ready to sign loanee Kovacic from Madrid, a transfer ban and a manager who is set on leaving the Club. The only competition the Frenchman will face is against Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley as Kante, Jorginho are favorites ahead of the trio.

Italian giants AC Millan is not pleased with the performance of French international and Chelsea loanee Bakayoko since his move in August and the Rossoneri are willing to cut the loan spell short come January.
