Mason Mount has been confirmed as the next-gen ambassador for FIFA 21.
SaveChelsea reports that Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has been confirmed as a next-gen ambassador for FIFA 21, ahead of the upcoming release of EA’s newest game from their popular FIFA gaming franchise later this year.
This online Chelsea Fanbase information hub learnt that ahead of the release of FIFA 21 on October 9, 2020, EA has already confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe will feature as the game’s cover star on all three editions, Ultimate, Champions, and Standard editions. Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland and Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix feature as FUT 21 ambassadors.
According to verified news on EA website, EA had already dropped a clue that Blues’ midfielder Mount would have some involvement in FIFA 21, with the youngster being featured in a number of screenshots from the new game in a teaser trailer released back in July.

SaveChelsea gathered that Mount’s confirmation was made official last night and that Mount is a FIFA 21 Next ambassador, with EA also saying that, “The FIFA Next is a curated list featuring the freshest emerging talent from across the world of football who embody the meaning of Win as One.”

The other FIFA 21 Next ambassadors include Phil Foden (Manchester City), Steven Bergwijn (Tottenham Hotspur), Georgia Stanway (Manchester City), Aaron Connolly (Brighton and Hove Albion), Theo Hernandez (AC Milan), Martin Odegaard (Real Sociedad), Mal Pugh (USWNT), Sergino Dest (Ajax), Giovanni Reyna (Borussia Dortmund), Bruno Guimaraes (Lyon), Giulia Gwinn (Bayern Munich), Rodrygo (Real Madrid Hwang-Hee Chan (RB Leipzig).
EA has also shown off a screenshot of how Stamford Bridge will look in FIFA 21, with the Blues’ stadium looking very realistic in the new game.
The Next campaign seems to suggest that any of the players selected could feature as a future cover star for a future FIFA game, with EA clearly earmarking these players as some of the top talents in the world of football.
Featuring alongside players like Haaland, Alexander-Arnold, Felix, Foden, Odegaard, Stanway and Dest, Mount finds himself amongst some of the finest young players in the world in EA’s Next campaign, so don’t be surprised if we see the Chelsea midfielder on the cover of a FIFA game in future.
FIFA 21 will be released in the UK and worldwide on October 9, 2020, with the game being released initially on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with the game set to be released later this year on next-gen consoles.
If you pre-order the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC you’ll be able to play from October 6, 2020, with the Standard Edition allowing fans to play from the game’s official UK and worldwide release date of October 9, 2020.
