Former Chelsea and Juventus manager, Antonio Conte would agree to become Inter Milan’s new manager if he is made the highest-paid manager in the Serie A.
The Italian manager has been out of work since he was sacked by Chelsea last summer and could return to coaching duties with Serie A giants, Inter Milan.
Antonio Conte won the English Premier League title and FA Cup in his two seasons at Stamford Bridge and has remained linked to Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and several clubs in the previous nine months.
Inter Milan have produced disappointing results this season and are 27 points behind Juventus. The club is expected to part ways with the current manager, Luciano Spalletti and bring back Antonio Conte to the Italian top flight in the summer.
Conte is demanding a £9m annual salary at Inter Milan. If the Inter hierarchy should agree to that, Conte would override Juventus boss, Massimiliano Allegri who is on a £7.5m annual salary – as the highest-paid Serie A manager.
