Napoli attacker Lorenzo Insigne has apparently hinted on the fact that Sarri is set to become the next manager at Stamford Bridge.

The Italy international has established himself as a key player in the Napoli team and has attracted interest from some big clubs in Europe. He played 37 times for Napoli this season, scoring 8 goals and providing 11 assists.

In a chat with Corriere dello Sport, Insigne all but confirmed that Sarri is the next Chelsea manager, as he wished him well in his subsequent managerial endeavors.

“If I sit on the Chelsea bench, I will be happy because he did well with Napoli and our football was appreciated by everyone.

“I wish him good luck and I hope he brings his mentality there”.

The statement by Insigne gives credence to the reports that have filled the media that Chelsea are set to appoint Maurizio Sarri as the new manager.
