Chelsea star N’golo Kante has admitted that he feels settled in London after his move from Leicester City, but insists that Paris is home. Kante has established himself as one of the finest holding midfielders in the game presently and has been lauded for his contribution to the Chelsea side.
The France international was instrumental in Chelsea’s title-winning campaign and also played his part this season for the Blues as they won the FA Cup although they settled for less in the Premier League, finishing fifth and missing out on next season’s UEFA Champions League.
In an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Kante revealed a few things about how he has coped with life since arriving at Stamford Bridge.
“They [friends and family] come over often from Paris.
“When they visit they want to see the tourist sites in London. It’s a good city, a big city. There are lots of things to do.
“For me London will always be different because Paris is home, I was born there, I’m from there, I can speak French there. But they are both great capitals where you can find everything you need.”
Kante will be raring to play his part for Chelsea ahead of the new season but will be presently focused on a successful world cup campaign with France in Russia.
