Silva’s experience a big addition for us – Lampard

Lampard believes that Thiago Silva will bring much-needed experience to the Chelsea defensive line ahead of the new season.

Silva was officially announced as a Chelsea player earlier this week and the Blues boss was highly complimentary of the 35-year-old defender.

He told the club’s official website: “With Thiago Silva, we are looking at a player I know very well, pretty much as we all do.
