Chelsea are in the ‘final stages’ of a deal bringing Kai Havertz to the club from Bayer Leverkusen, according to reports.
The Blues have made the Germany international their prime target following the signings of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

Chelsea have long been the leading suitors for his services and a deal is now set to be tied-up.

According to Swedish outlet Expressen, talks have been ongoing with French side Amiens over Iranian international Saman Ghoddos, and a deal could be announced ‘shortly’.
That could mean the Bees are preparing themselves for the departure of Benrahma, who has been linked with Chelsea among other Premier League clubs.

Dortmund’s Sancho transfer admission
Borussia Dortmund has made a Jadon Sancho transfer admission after announcing losses of around £45 million.
The financial setback is due to the coronavirus pandemic which has impacted football across the globe.
Sancho has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, while Chelsea have also been heavily involved in the rumours surrounding the forward’s future.
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has since explained the situation with Sancho amid the financial blow.
“We have had ten very, very good years at Borussia Dortmund,” he said, per The Express.
“We made three-digit million profits and wrote deep black numbers. Then corona came and everything changed a little.”
Asked directly about whether the club needs to sell Sancho, Watzke responded: “We weren’t in a situation where we had to sell at any cost.”

The defender’s stock has risen ever since the Seagulls made it to the Premier League in 2017, with Dunk receiving his first England cap in 2018.
