Man United manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that he cannot stop Chelsea fans from disliking him but insisted that he still loves the Blues faithful. The Portuguese manager seemingly broke the heart of Chelsea fans when he joined Manchester United. This is coming ahead of the FA Cup final between Manchester United and Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday evening, and Mourinho is uncertain about the kind of reception he’ll get from Chelsea fans.

‘When I became Manchester United manager, you know better than me of course, if the supporters hate me or dislike me or disrespect me,’ he said.

‘That is something I cannot control. But you don’t have any thoughts from me with negative words about Chelsea supporters. Not one word.’

However. It can be recalled that both of Mourinho’s managerial spells at Chelsea ended with his sack, although he still recalls how loyal the fans were at those times.

‘The only thing I say in relation to Chelsea supporters is that since my first day in 2004 until my last day when I was sacked a couple of years ago, they were with me unconditionally,’ said Mourinho.

‘They supported me every day, every match. They supported me even on the days I was sacked — twice.

‘That I will never forget because they did what great supporters do — support their manager unconditionally until the last day. They were phenomenal.’

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho’s Man United head into the game as favorites although both sides have struggled to be consistent in the course of the season. Mourinho will meet Conte in the dugout after he revealed that they had buried the hatchet.
