Chelsea have reportedly upped their interest in Juventus defender Daniele Rugani. Chelsea are yet to bring in new players to Stamford Bridge, a development which is believed to be down to the managerial uncertainty at the club.
However, with recent reports suggesting that Maurizio Sarri is set to take over from Antonio Conte in coming days, the club are now looking to make progress in the transfer market.
Reports from London Evening Standard suggest that Chelsea have now made a £35m bid to sign the Italy international from Juventus, who was once a player under Sarri.
Juventus are keen to keep the player, but the 23-year-old who has three years remaining in his contract is believed to be interested in the move as he made only 23 starts for Juventus in Serie A and Champions League fixtures in the 2017/18 footballing campaign.
