Reports in Italy suggest that Serie A outfit are preparing a €30 million offer for Chelsea’s Brazilian defender David Luiz.
The Partenopei have been recently involved in negotiations with the Blues over the signing of Maurizio Sarri and it appears there has been a breakthrough in the move for the former Napoli manager.
Reports from Il Mattino now indicate that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is considering a move for David Luiz to help bolster Carlo Ancelotti’s defence. The report suggests that the club are ready to pay €30 million to acquire Luiz from Chelsea who was frozen out from the team by Conte last season.
Luiz played just 10 Premier League games for Chelsea last season and scored one goal. He last played for Chelsea in a 4:1 defeat to Watford on February 2.
