A move for Eden Hazard by the Los Blancos appears very likely at the moment, and the player will definitely not turn down a move to Real Madrid going by how he has been speaking much about the Spanish giants recently.
Chelsea’s absence from the UEFA Champions League, a competition that the Belgian is eager to win doesn’t help matters either. To compound it, the heartbreak he suffered from the Belgium team as they missed out on the World Cup final could also spur him on to move onto relatively bigger and better things with Real Madrid if they come calling.
It can be recalled that Kylian Mbappe and Neymar joined Paris St. Germain last summer, and therefore, getting the oil-rich Ligue I giants to part with their priced assets won’t be easy for the Los Blancos, as PSG also have an eye on a triumph in the UCL.
Therefore, Real Madrid could be forced to go all out for Hazard who has proven consistently over time that he can cut it at the big stage. The player has spent many years at Chelsea and is at the peak of his career. It is so obvious that he’ll switch to the Bernabeu if an offer comes.
Chelsea fans must be prepared for a possible life without Hazard in the 2018/19 season, as Madrid will be hot on the heels of potential replacements for Ronaldo, and we all know that the Los Blancos hardly take no for an answer.
This move looks likely, but Blues faithful will be ecstatic if Hazard decides to remain at Stamford Bridge, regardless of how unlikely it seems at the moment.
