Chelsea Academy product Jeremy Boga has gotten tired of the loan life at the club and has made a permanent move to Serie A outfit Sassuolo. The player had hinted that he would not be interested in another loan move after his most recent loan spell at Championship side Birmingham City last season and has subsequently made the move to Italy.
The club have officially announced the player’s move, and he will be intent on proving a point in the Serie A as he was one of the most promising youngsters to emerge from Chelsea’s youth setup.
However, the rumored transfer fee said to be around £3.5m to £4m has a buy-back clause inserted. Boga had been at Chelsea since 2009 and made his debut for the Blues last season in the Premier League in a 3:2 loss to Burnley at Stamford Bridge.
In that game, he was subbed off early after Cahill received a red card for a rash tackle. He was then sent out on loan some few weeks later. Boga had three loan spells away from Chelsea, and this move shows that the player was fed up with the loan arrangements.
