Chelsea FC will begin their 2018/19 Premier League campaign with a trip to Huddersfield Town.

The fixtures for the forthcoming season are out, but Chelsea still remain uncertain about who’ll be in the dugout for the club as Antonio Conte is expected to leave the club this summer and reported negotiations with Napoli for Maurizio Sarri continue to linger.

Chelsea will also play the Europa League in the first round for the first time in 16 years, and it is expected that some of the club’s fixtures will be rescheduled to Sunday, as the fixtures were released with default Saturday 3pm kick-off times.

It can be recalled that Chelsea lost their opening game in the Premier League last season for the first time in 19 years in a shocking 3:2 loss at home to Burnley. Therefore, the person at the dugout will look to make immediate amends.
