Willian keen to remain at Chelsea

Willian has revealed that he intends to remain at Chelsea for as long as possible amid reports of a possible departure from the club.

The Brazilian midfielder has featured in all four Premier League games for Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri thus far.

He has also been able to impress in Chelsea’s new style by playing his part nicely on the pitch.

The Blues currently have 12 points from 4 games after wins against Huddersfield Town, Arsenal, Newcastle and Bournemouth.

Chelsea will welcome newly promoted Cardiff City to Stamford Bridge this weekend as they look to maintain their fine start.

Meanwhile, Willian has opened up about his future at the club and expressed his desire to remain at Stamford Bridge for the foreseeable future.

In a chat with the Club’s official website, Willian said:

“When I arrived here my plan was to stay here as long as possible and now I am here five years I hope stay five more!

“I know I have two years of contract left but I hope to stay more years in the Premier League. I am very happy to be here five years.

“I have won titles and played a lot of games with a lot of happy moments, and a few sad moments as well but that is part of football.”

Willian has scored 44 goals in 241 games since his arrival at Stamford Bridge.

The player will be keen to play his part and steer Chelsea back to the glory days after a poor finish last season.
